Top Ten Tarot Decks of 2025 - A Riffle In Time

Top Ten Tarot Decks of 2025

The Top 10 Tarot Decks of 2025 is originally a video I posted on my YouTube channel but I wanted to make a written version too for accessibility and preference differences! If you would like to see the original video check out Top 10 Tarot Decks of 2025.

I also did a video on the Top 10 Oracle Decks of 2025 which I will make a blog post about too!

When making this list of my top tarot decks of 2025 I focused on my most used decks of the year. To figure this out I looked back through my photos, videos, journals and anything else I had to kind of look over my year. I literally tallied it up 😂

So these are my top 10 tarot decks of 2025 starting from 10 and working my way down to my number 1.

First I shouted out the newest tarot deck to my collection that I am most excited to use next year Cacio e Pepe Tarot https://ariffleintime.com/products/cacio-e-pepe-tarot-deck

10. Discovering Beauty Tarot Deck

Discovering Beauty Tarot was my newest deck on the list so I felt it was only right that it held my number 10 spot. I really loved pairing this deck up this year and used it a lot for readings for others. I still can't decide if the mini or the full size is my favorite but I love the almost Lionel cut art vibe it gives off and it's just got such good energy. One of the best tarot decks of the year since it actually came out this year!

9. Scarab & Dahlia Tarot Deck

As someone who has had a lot of collage decks over time it is a big thing for me to say this has become one of my all time favorites. It was my go to collage deck this year and actually had me letting go of some of my others because I found anytime I was reaching for that style, it was Scarab & Dahlia Tarot. I also had fun doing some of my own collage art inspired by my card pulls from it this year which I love.

8. Magic Pantry Tarot Deck

As a foodie and a Cedar deck lover it is no surprise to anyone that the Magic Pantry Tarot was a hit for me. I have noticed it has become my favored deck from them and that is crazy that it's taken the spot from Numinous Tarot. I have always loved Cedars guidebooks and art style so it's an easy go to deck especially this spring and summer with its picnic vibes.

7.  Blood Moon Tarot Deck

As famously quoted from me you will have to pry Blood Moon Tarot from my cold dead hands 😂. I am so inspired by this deck and I think that in itself is the biggest compliment. I find myself wanting to write anytime I use it and when someones art gives me a creatively inspired feeling I think that's magic. Its moody fantasy art is so breathtaking and I find myself just flipping through the cards sometimes because Sam is one of my favorite artists. This deck is out Mass Market now which is so exciting and that's the copies I carry in the shop!

6. Journey Tarot Deck

Journey Tarot is magical and if you can't tell that fantasy magic thing is my type! It was a great deck to pair up this year, it was definitely one of my most paired up decks. I love the energy and its difference in perspective from other decks. I also love that the misprint edition reads a little more passionately as the normal is a more lighter softer vibe.

5.  Lilifer Tarot Deck

The comeback deck of my tarot story. I got my second copy of Lilifer Tarot last year after decluttering the first edition and it's crazy how different our experience together has been the past two years. This is the second year it held the 5th spot in my top 10 after being a deck I hadn't connected with the first time around. I find its energy reminds me of some Aries & Gemini friends of mine and now I am so smitten it's one of my go to decks especially in those seasons. I actually found I used Lilifer more than its sibling deck Reclaim Oracle which is a well used deck in my collection.

4. Gentle Tarot Deck

The Gentle Tarot is one of those decks that is steady and sturdy and reliable for me. I love the full size guidebook for this one and no I will never stop saying that lol. It is one of those decks I go to when I am wanting love and support and to have just one of those really reflective perspective shifting moments. I am so so excited to have My Friend Fire now to pair with it. Mari's energy is so imbued in her decks that it's hard to not feel like the deck is a friend of mine and what a lovely soul she is.

3. Spolia Tarot Deck (oop sorry 😢)

This was my unicorn deck. I have wanted Spolia Tarot for years and have dreamed of this day where it was mine. This was my gift to myself for all the hard work I've put into A Riffle in Time over the years and it makes it feel so special. I love this guidebook and how its perspective can be so unique. Reading after reading this year it just proved to me that it was meant to be mine. It was one half of my top deck pairings of the year with the next deck, Botan tarot.

2. Botan Tarot Deck

It isn't surprising to me that the decks I waited years for were two decks I spent the most time with this year. Botan was number 2 on my wishlist and the other unicorn for my collection. When the reprint came last year I was sooo over the moon and have spent so much time with it since I got it. I love the softness and of course that fantasy moody magic. I think it makes sense too that my favorite decks are from my favorite artists.

1. Future Ancestor Tarot

The deck that made me cry because I love it so much of course is my number one. I use this deck on my altar and in such a personal practice way that I can't help but feel it deeply in my heart. It's energy is nature and gentleness, it's always supportive and you can just feel Lexa's energy in it. If I could only keep one deck right now, this is it. I just can't imagine being without it.
